Marie Flowers

Marie Flowers is the author of a nonfiction novel All About Me.  She decided to write about her journey about domestic violence after a close friend shared her experiences.  She felt it was time to tell her story in hopes of being able to help someone else. 

 

Marie Flowers grew up in Clarksdale, Mississippi and now lives in Memphis, Tennessee with her two teenage children and her husband.  Marie is retired from nursing and spends most of her time with her children. When she is not writing hand written letters to her friends and family, Marie enjoys sitting and admiring her backyard garden.   Mrs. Flowers was once a victim of physical and mental abuse as a teen, but is now an advocate for victorious living. 

 

Uplifting, motivating and inspiring young teen mothers, as well as other women of abuse, continues to be a passion of hers. All About Me is her first publication, she is currently working on her next book.
